Lydia handles all the firm’s appellate cases and provides key trial litigation support in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution/divorce, child custody/timesharing, child support, alimony, marital agreements, modifications of agreements and judgments, paternity, relocation, and name changes. Lydia is committed to protecting her client’s rights and serving their children’s best interests.

Lydia is a member of the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar, and she is known for her high level of writing talent and appellate advocacy that has achieved great success for clients. Notably, Lydia was the lead attorney and instrumental in achieving a critical change in the law in our home jurisdiction of the Fourth District Court of Appeal for the State of Florida to secure the right to seek appellate attorney’s fees in paternity matters and obtained a favorable outcome for our client in the en banc decision of Beckford v. Drogan, 216 So. 3d 1 (Fla. 4th DCA 2017).

Lydia’s talent has also been recognized throughout the State of Florida as she has been named to Florida’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. Lydia has also been published on the topic of family law in Boca Magazine.

Lydia has been licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 2013. She began her career as a law clerk at the prestigious Fourth District Court of Appeal, handling dozens of appellate cases that concerned issues across many areas of the law, including family law, criminal law, employment law, estate planning, and more. Lydia transitioned to private practice in 2015 to be an associate attorney for Beaulieu-Fawcett Law Group, P.A., and has faithfully served our team and clients throughout the last decade.

Lydia graduated with the highest honors from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida, where she amassed an impressive total of 15 CALI “book” awards for top excellence in academics, including in her courses on family law, legal writing, appellate advocacy, and evidence. Lydia served as the Editor-in-Chief of the St. Thomas Law Review, and she is published in St. Thomas Law’s Intercultural Human Rights Law Review on the topic of human trafficking law.

In her spare time, Lydia enjoys relaxing with her family, traveling domestically and internationally, trying new cuisines and restaurants with friends, and tackling items on her never-ending “to do” list.

Lydia is active in her home church of Spanish River Church and is associated with both the Christian Legal Society in Palm Beach County and the Broward County Christian Lawyers Association. Lydia is thankful for the commitment that BNLG has not just to excellent legal practice but to furthering the best interests of our clients with Christian values in mind.
